Colette Robicheau and Dr. Jennifer Salib Huber are the co-founders of 100+ Women Who Care Halifax, an organization that puts the power of collective giving to work to make a difference in the community. Over the past five years, they have worked with group members to donate to multiple local charities and have helped start chapters across Canada, with the goal of supporting non-profit and charitable organizations that work at the grassroots level. They are both very active in our community, and are always looking for ways to support and help the community members and organizations that need it most.

Jenn is a naturopathic doctor and proud resident of Downtown Dartmouth, who feels privileged to be part of a community that allows her to be a mother, entrepreneur, and involved community member. She is quick to show gratitude for being in a position that allows her to give her best to everyone in her life.

When asked about her own mentor, Jenn says she has been fortunate to have many mentors growing up and that her Father, who sadly passed away in 2006, was her greatest mentor. He was a rural physician who instilled in her the importance of being part of the community that you live in, and to always find ways to serve community outside of your job. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and taught Jenn to do the same.

Colette is the President of Organize Anything, and a consultant and coach with an extensive background in productivity, project management, and business development.  She is also on the Steering Team for the International 100 Who Care Alliance, helping to provide best practices and resources for similar giving groups helping grassroots efforts around the world.

One of the most gratifying areas of her life is seeing grassroots charities get such an unexpected boost through 100 Women Who Care Halifax. Colette is a mentor to so many women in her community and finds it very rewarding that she gets to hear how 100 Women Who Care members are educated and moved as they hear from the well deserving, hardworking groups in our community.

Colette’s own mentor is her Mom, who regularly told her “If you can change even one person’s life for the better you have done a good job on this earth.”  Colette’s Mom passed away over 3 years ago, but she still hears this sentiment from her daily.
